The Government of Andhra Pradesh has officially launched "Operation Clean Sweep," a massive, state-wide sanitation drive spanning across all 123 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). Running for four weeks from 22nd May to 20th June, 2026, the initiative focuses on a distinct sanitation theme each week.
A YEARS-OLD PUBLIC NUISANCE HAS FINALLY BEEN ELIMINATED
The Kavali Municipal Commissioner took special action to transform the heavily stinking "yellow spot" adjacent to the Government Hospital into a spotless area. Citizens who previously couldn't tolerate the bad smell are now appreciating this massive relief and visible cleanliness.
